Adobe
Web Design and Desktop Publishing
Who in the World Wide Web is Adobe?
It is almost impossible to hop on to the internet
without running into something that was created with
one of the many Adobe products. PDF's or
Portable Document Format is one of the most popular
formats for sharable documents due to a wide range
of supported platforms. Almost any graphic
designer has at least a basic knowledge of the
Photoshop and Illustrator software packages offered
by Adobe. Photoshop is the ultimate tool for
developing web graphics and modifying photographs.
Illustrator is a well know desktop publishing tool
that allows the creation of professional documents.
Adobe Flash is yet another example of how closely
Adobe is tied to the web. Flash provides a
platform for the delivering highly interactive
presentations ad web applications on the internet.
You don't have to journey very far on the world wide
web to see Adobe in action.
How does WSI utilize Adobe?
WSI utilizes many Adobe products on a daily basis
to create websites, desktop publishing documents,
illustrations, interactive media solutions,
marketing resources and user interfaces.
Photoshop provides a graphic design environment that
allows our graphic designers to create visually
stunning user interfaces for websites and other
media. WSI uses Flash to create television
commercials, web based video presentations,
interactive mapping and other custom applications.
WSI works with Illustrator to develop marketing
materials for internal printing, as well as,
development of printing projects sent to
professional print shops. WSI is so familiar
with the Adobe product line that we offer training
