photographic art direction, the WSI graphic
design team can analyze your needs in order to
determine what the images should look like
before they are taken. We can also help you
decide how many photos should be used and where
they would most effectively be displayed.
What other services do you offer that support
your photography?
Along with our design services we offer
image processing for our photography. We can
modify your image, place it in a
presentation, add it to a
print design and post it to your
website.
All our services can be combined together to
create a project team that is going to deliver
what you are looking for.
No matter what I do, I can't seem to take
pictures with out red eye. What is this from and can
you help me?
Red eye's can ruin a photograph of family and
friends. Many digital cameras and digital image
processing packages offer some form of red eye
removal. But even some of those features don't
always seem to work.
Red eye's in photographs is caused by light
being reflected off the back of a persons eye.
The moment the photo is taken light from a flash
or from ambient light in the room can be
captured. We doesn't see this when we walk
around our day to day life because our heads
don't come with an attached 1000 watt flash
bulb.
Adjusting the delay of your flash on your
digital camera can help to reduce red eye. Your
camera may also have a setting or feature that
allows for post image processing that will
remove the anomaly.
If you have photographs that you have already
taken and want to have them reprocessed
digitally, WSI can scan your photograph's and
digitally remove red eye as well as use
image
processing techniques to increase the overall
clarity and richness of your favorite photos.

our Midwest (Ames, Iowa) office or our Southeast
(Fort Myers, Florida) location today for a

I have some images that are blurry can you fix
those?
Adding a little blur here and there on snap
shots can really add a bit of flare to the
subject. When the whole image is blurry, it's
hard to tell what you are looking at. Many times
through digital enhancement and photographic
post processing, a blurry image can be enhanced
to remove a noticeable amount of the haziness.
A helpful tip for amateur photographers that
experience issues with blurry images is to
increase your shutter speed or by a tripod to
mount your camera on.
Contact
one of our offices located in Iowa (Midwest)
or Florida (Southeast) to speak with an
experienced
image processing specialist that
will help you come up with a plan to restore
your favorite images and photographs.
My images look washed out and lack color, is
there anything that can be done?
When images look "washed out" or lack color
they are often suffering from a contrast issue.
The image may be over bright and everything in
the image may appear white. If the image suffers
from the opposite, it may be due to over
exposure. Either of these problems relate to
brightness and contrast and can be solved with
minor image processing.
Sometimes, images can be inappropriately
color balanced. This type of effect can be seen
on older televisions where one of the picture
tubes colors has become over bearing. People may
appear to be overly tan or look like they just
stepped out of a two hour tanning session. These
images can also be corrected to a certain extent
with image processing.
To learn more about this and other common
image processing issues,
contact one of our
design specialists at either our Ames, Iowa
(Midwest) or Ft Myers, Florida (Southeast)
office locations.
We like what we see and want to begin a
relationship with you, however, we're located
hundreds of miles away from your office and no where
near Iowa or the Midwest - will this work?
We have had, and continue to develop,
numerous relationships with clients that were
not located around either our Ames Iowa, or Ft.
Myers Florida locations. Some of our clients
weren't even in the Midwest or Southeast.
Depending on the scope of the photography services required, face to face
meetings are not necessary to process images.
Many of our clients enjoy sitting in the comfort
of their own office or home and conducting a
phone or shared desktop meeting with one of our
trainers.
Our attention to detail and customer service
has helped us deliver many images and
photographs without ever
having a face to face discussion with the
client.
